Silence is of the essence. We all seek that which we cannot grasp and which constantly eludes us. In the buzz of life, frantic activity is a hallmark of modernity. It is an unavoidable condition of our fate. Perhaps this is why we have grown to appreciate every second of silence and repose.
With this project, we have created ways of quietening space and capturing silence. Here is a contemporary design that avoids clutter, treasures clean details and ensures full spatial integration. Less is certainly more.
Quietude itself cannot be crafted. But, it can be brought into being through an intentional juxtaposition of the right elements. And that is how we have crafted a gap in which tranquil emotion can flourish on this property in Swieqi.
We have designed a play of light that captures the emotionality of music. The light cuts through and across the building, creating a composition that we react to and engage with. We are encouraged to quieten our thoughts and repose our actions. Our daily disquiet is replaced by THIS quiet.
